Frequently asked questions

Does the app send every Jira change?

No. Administrators choose a project or JQL scope, event types, optional transition conditions, and card fields. Preview the rule before saving it.

Can different teams use different Chat spaces?

Yes. Create a separate connection for each destination and configure its own rule and timing.

Does the app send comments or worklogs?

No. The current app does not fetch issue comments or worklogs. It sends selected supported issue fields and excludes issues with a security level.

Does it support Jira Service Management?

It can process Jira issue events from Jira Service Management projects through the Jira issue-event path. It does not add special behavior to the JSM customer portal or service request workflow. Check the Marketplace compatibility selection and test your project before rollout.

Can I choose quiet hours and digests?

Yes. Configure immediate delivery, hourly or daily digests, and quiet hours per connection. Scheduled digest checks run every five minutes, so delivery may occur after the next scheduled check.

What happens when delivery fails?

The connection health and delivery log show the outcome. The app retries network errors, HTTP 429, and HTTP 5xx responses, and retains queued items for up to 24 hours. See Troubleshooting.

Where is the webhook stored?

Forge encrypted secret storage holds the webhook URL. The admin page masks the saved value. Treat the URL as a secret and replace it if it is exposed.

How do the trial and subscription work?

The current proposed listing has a 30-day free trial followed by a monthly Atlassian Marketplace subscription, subject to the final Marketplace configuration. See Pricing and trial. The listing's checkout screen is the authoritative source for the applicable price and billing terms.

How do I contact support?

Our planned support address is support@darkwoodapps.com. It is awaiting Workspace activation and is not yet receiving requests. Support will be operational before Marketplace launch. Do not include webhook URLs, API tokens, or customer issue contents in the request.
